Here we get into the main subjects at last. This is one of the largest sections you're likely to see (the elementary history and social studies one is actually even larger by about two gigs). Because some textbooks focus on just reading comprehension others on just grammar and still others on a mixture of both reading and grammar it was nigh impossible to sort these out any further than I did.

This includes:
- various reading readiness and reading assessments used widely in education today
- early readers for children just beginning to read
- educational picture books (some of these teach grammatical concepts others teach math or other subjects--wasn't sure where to put them!)
- various graded or leveled readers some decodable from a variety of publishers (DK Dolphin Harcourt Houghton Mifflin Ladybird Penguin Scott Foresman and Sounds Like Reading)
- literature units for specific books
- a large collection of materials from Reading A to Z
- a collection of miscellaneous reading comprehension activities and practice for beginning readers (nearly all are individual stories per file)
- Saddleback's Focus on Reading Study Guides for various literature books (I believe all are within elementary ability to read and understand--mind you this is assessing children's actual ability not the level they tend to get to in elementary schools!)
- a collection of miscellaneous materials regarding reading and writing gleaned from the Santa Maria-Bonita School District (I forget now what state that is even--they had them on their website)
- books and materials for enriching children's vocabulary
- all sorts of books and materials focusing on writing (writing paragraphs and more not handwriting)
- grammar workbooks
- language arts textbooks involving both literature selections and grammar practice
- basal and other readers designed for reading focus
- the old McGuffey Reader series in pdf format
- books with texts for practicing fluency
- all manner of books dealing with reading comprehension mixing grammar and composition old primers and grammars etc.
